RAFT is committed to assisting the community in disaster preparedness, mitigation efforts, immediate response and clean up, long term rebuild, 1:1 support, and building a more disaster resilient community.
We will do this by:
Working with local, state, and federal organizations to better support our neighbors through the processes of recovery
Assessing and documenting the needs of individuals, families, businesses and farms that were impacted by the disaster
Identifying and securing financial and other resources to meet those needs
Provide resident-centered recovery to those that seek it. RAFT is committed to working 1:1 with individuals, families, renters, home-owners, business owners, farmers and organizations in our community to provide them a recovery that fits their needs
Assist our community to have dignified and secure housing
Supporting community efforts to prepare for and build resilience against future disasters
Building a team that is capable of providing assistance to their neighbors before, during and after a disaster.
Using this knowledge, human capital and resources to help neighboring communities, in the event that we have capacity.
